Smooth leaf elm?

Any other names for this tree besides smooth leaf elm? Is t good for bows? Was thinking of doing a wide limbed and long but was wondering what everyone else thought. I understand elm can take a good deal of overstrain before it blows up

Is that Ulmus minor? If so, it's  high quality wood, used for bows, gun-stocks and such. You could do an ELB out of it.

Another question I have is I have a seasoned stave of it and I didn’t pull the bark off before sealing and seasoning. So I was wondering if I left the elm inner bark on would it hurt anything when I begin tillering?

With white elm the inner bark can be left on and creates some interest and texture.not sure about smooth leaf,but I suspect it would be the same.
