totem

sister in law got this at garage sale and asked me to paint it for her.its a plaster casting and I thought some might find it interesting.painted with acrylics.was a challenge keeping my old hands steady but I ddid my best

I think you did a great job. It's not easy to make it come out realistic without getting gaudy and you did it. Very nice. 8)

Nice job, painting is always a change. I remember painting my first decoy, scared to death. Thought I would ruin it after all the work carving. A wildlife artist friend painted half then I painted the other side. huge learning curve. John

DC its 28" tall
stoner i wasnt afraid to paint it been painting my own carvings for 50 years ,the problem is im on full time oxygen now due to end stage copd and my hands arent as steady as they ounce were.
