You like gullwing and 5 curves? Me too. These are the bows that the sinew ripped apart. Not only have they made it to brace, but all have been drawn to 16”. Much thanks to my buddy James Rempp, encouraging me that there was still hope when I could see nothing but wasted effort. More to come...

Cool bows hopefully they work out for you. Like those bends, you took on a real challenge. There is always hope.

Glis- These are Osage and yew worked down to a ring. Working Yew to a ring is a bit of a tuffy, but I've got it down much better now. I should have worked the bows thinner so that when the sinew dried and shrunk it would have pulled the limb into reflex, as opposed to pulling it apart.

Perhaps you remember this post where my bows literally ripped apart from the sinew, requiring me to fill the cracks with CA glue. I ended up tillering them to half draw and then wrapping them with sinew to promote staying together at full draw. No further tiller corrections were made after the sinew wrapping was on. I haven't been accused of building anything perfect yet, but I am happy that at least they made bows.
