evldwrf,acquired years ago when in a group known as the S.C.A. even though i quit years ago it stuck even w/coworkers who knew me then.
interests or hobbies:
amature bowyer,alternative energy and related topics including possible career opportunities,and many other topics too numerous to mention right now.
home:
Vancouver,washington.i live w/my wife Liz and two daughters Kristen and Natalie.
occupation:
construction milwright specializing in turbine maintenance

 Welcome Evldwrf, This is a great site and awesome community of bowyers, feel free to post ask questions and share your experiences.  I grow up as a millwright and that was my main trade most my life. In and out of Mills all over the NW.  Have you ever woeked for or heard of MM&E. How long have you been a millwright and what mills you been in. We may have crossed paths befor.  Keenan

thanks for the welcome.i've been a millwright for almost 18 years.i did my appr. mostly in paper mills pretty much every one along the I-5 corridor. no i am not familiar w/that comp.i start tomorrow in albany or. for 3 days then it's off to leweston id. for three days then it's back home for a job in camas.
  I've been building bows for 7 or 8 years now and don't know how to expres in a few words my enthusiasm for being an amateur bowyer. being a wood bow builder involves so many things. ahhhh i love this stuff.
