Ridges and Valleys Back of Upper Limb

I like making these sapling bows and the HLD seems to be working good for me. I also have HLD Hawthorn bow 66" NTN I'm shooting in right now will post soon. If you want to see some super nice HLD Bows check out Simon and Weylin's bows I never will get a finished like they get suppose I'm a bit lazy.

  Thanks for looking Chuck

The fd looks very good, unbraced has a bit to much stringfollow for my taste. Or was it naturally deflexed?
The back looks awesome with the rips and valleys.

I like your outfit by the way, esp. the hat!

+1 Simon.  Nice work on the drawn profile.  Maybe a little heat treat to straighten and stiffen the belly?

Thanks all for looking and comments,

The bow is not yet 100% finished. Ya the string silencers are a bit tacky but its only my Tillering string and the yarn is a quick fix to get the twang out. thanks Simon and SlimBob think I may add some heat straighten it

Thanks again everybody for the comments Chuck

The old hat was one I had retired but the best part of is the  Birch Bark hatband I made for it

I came back to work on this bow. I did a heat treat, flipped the tips, and worked on the tiller,  I still pull it 22-23in but now its at 47/48lbs I can pull my bows further on the tree then in hand had it to 24" at 50-52# on the tree

Thanks for looking, Chuck    The pix were taken today colder then stink here today...
