Now I’m not saying that it WILL explode on yah. But I would be a bit weary about any wood that delaminates like that. Usually caused from wind shake. That being said, the wood has great color. I would just suggest that when you’re tillering instead of going half speed, maybe go a bit slower and be ahead of ANY slight of a weak spot.
I like the split each limb into 7 even sections and get that taper real nice, feel it out over and over and over with your fingers like calipers and I have no doubt you’ll get some bows from that batch.
