Haha no, I mixed 1:1 as instructed. You can also go up to 2:1 for a "stronger bond" (no description of what that means) but I always make sure it's at least 1:1, maybe up to 1.1:1.  Ive had more successes than failures doing it that way, so I'm thinking I did something else wrong here.

I'm hoping to transition to selfbows soon anyways. It's just a matter of material availability.

Hi

I had this Happen on like 4-5 bows all delaminated on the Glue joint -
I am a cabinet maker and Laminate lots different woods all the time - and use urea formaldehyde on bows with out Fibreglass - thats never delaminated

All my Trim-Lam Bows with Bamboo and IPE i use urea formaldehyde -  (still wipe down with Acetone as IPE you need)

But i did find the cause on the bows that delaminated - the Smooth-on that i was using was 6 months Out of date , the UK supplier sold me , after the Fails I googled then emailed Smooth-on in the USA with numbers and they said out of date .. company sent me some fresh stuff, made exactly same again - same way same , acetone , same mix and all good ..

Just my 2 cents worth -
