I'm working on a build for a bar and have loads of Iroko hardwood left with perfect grain orientation and wonder if any of you folk out there have every tried to build a bow from it?
If you have I would sincerely love to see some pictures and chat through your builds!
Thanks in advance

Based from what I see in the wood database, it’s compression strength is quite good though, it’s tension strength is somewhat average. I think it would work out pretty well. As a rule of thumb, if I’m not sure, I’ll back it with something.

I did some boo backed years ago. It is workable but similar to Locust where it will chrysal if not real careful.
