This is the second sinew-backed bow I started back around September. It's made from billets spliced w/ a tapered finger joint. The siyahs are American Beech. I made her extra wide, 2" out of the fades until mid-limb, then tapering down to 3/8" at the tips. The siyahs look a bit bulky from the side, but they're super thin and hand shock isn't noticeable to me. In fact, she feels very smooth and easy to shoot.
