My name is Mark Thornton. I made the switch to trad archery almost 2 years ago after 17years of bowhunting with compounds. I have now gotten the bow building urge and have purchased a read oak board to make my first attempt at a bow after deer season is over. Hopefully I can make something shootable. I figured this was the place to go to learn the how to's of bow building. I am from Wetumpka, AL(just north of Montgomery). Some of you may have spoken to me on the LW(tdog) or Tradgang(pseman).

I hope to post some pics of my new bow in the next couple months.

Mark
It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Okilydokily here goes.

My name is Ragi, folks prolly remember me from long ago. I have been a long time member on most of the big archery sites. I somehow ended up walking away for a while. RL was sucking and the divorce lawyers were picking my pockets.

So I am now getting back to what I love though it is slow.

I will be around but since I now work for a living instead of being self unemployed, I wont be around as much. :(

Welcome back Ragi. I can certainly relate to the self unemployed.  ::)

I have been reading PA for about 6 years and just recently received my order for all the back issues. I can't wait to try out some of the projects from the old issues. My name is Aaron and I am from north west Arkansas.
Aaron from northwest Arkansas.

Hi, my name is Niels and I am a photographer from Hamburg in Northern Germany - yes, it is the Hamburg with the legendary Reeperbahn  ;D
The nick "Cooper" is just the translation of my last name in German.
I am shooting with traditionell bows for about six years and building them for five and a half - you see this virus was to strong for me.

Till now I have only made laminate bows and board bows with textile backing.
No selfbows so far - but I will try sometime, I promise  ;)

Hm, I remember, there was a rule - something about "child friendly" and so on, … yes, here it is:

Rule #4: This is a family oriented site and we want it to be child friendly so the use of curse words or foul language is not tolerated. Keep your language clean and respectful.
I think this rule applies to photos too - so: No photos from the Reeperbahn possible  ;D

Heya

Yeah I am still making arrows and bows etc. sorta. I dont have the time and energy I did so everything happens much slower than it used to. My arrow company is kinda sorta in suspended animation for the moment.

It is good to be back, now I need to make it a habit again.
