I have heard that Wildwood Sports Center near Syracuse is having a fund raiser to try and keep their doors open. Give a call and lend a hand or a few bucks. They are a good bunch of guys with a great place worth preserving.

Archery equipment stolen

More than $23,000 in archery equipment has been stolen in a pair of burglaries at a town of Elbridge sports center in the last few months, state police said Wednesday.

On Sunday, thieves took about $12,000 in archery equipment from Wildwood Sports Center, 5740 Fikes Road, Investigator Arthur Broccoli said. About $11,000 in equipment was stolen in October, Broccoli said.

In both cases, burglars forced their way into the building, Broccoli said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Elbridge state police barracks at 689-3353.

Here is a link to the PDF flyer for the event. I'm going to see about sending a gift certificate to add as a raffle option.
