yet another file knife

forged from an old Nicholson file.
full quench and temper.
hot vinegar patina.
curly maple scales.
8.75 overall 4.5 blade.
someones xmas gift.

Nice work, much better than mine.  The file knife shown is cold ground, I did it to test my skill at building the handle and guard for the most part.  I don't have a forge nor room for one.   The Balance of the knife is excellent, you can literally swing it by holding it only with a couple fingers resting against the guard and using a chopping motion.
