I finally got a good day to get some pictures of the bow I asked for tiller help on. I took about 100 pictures and I still don't think they are that good. I really admire you guys who take good photos.
Here's the specs:
62" NTN, 52#'s @ 28", Bamboo/Maple/Osage Lamination
Forward Handle- Live Oak (from a branch of the tree the bow is resting on in the pics)
Belly Handle- thin strips of Live Oak, purple heart, cocobolo
8 coats of Tru Oil Rubbed with Pumice mixture Gordon style
Greenish color wood dye on the bamboo
It's real smooth and fun to shoot. I'll take her hunting with me until I finish something more primitive. I need to get some arrows tuned and make a new string for it. Initial test through the chrono were 175 fps @ 10 gpp. I think I can get a little more out of her.
