Our Service Berry(Saskatoon) is twisted too. Pipe straight but twisted, like Hazel. We just saw it straight. Seems to hold together.

Nice work. I like how it took the stain. In central Washington I've scoured the sagebrush step and only found a few likely bow staves. I have one 8 inch x 7 foot piece drying and would love any tips.
