Would have liked to let him hang awhile longer but figured I had the chance to cut him up yesterday and didn't know when I'd get a chance again. I finished processing my second selfbow buck and put some back straps on the grill. Oh yah, those are so good. The whole family loves em, but they taste especially good to me.

My daughter's little dog was overwhelmed by the fantastic aroma that filled the house. She didn't get any but somehow she just knew it was yummy to.

I must have missed that phone call Brian, lol Good job. Chris and I have been out just 4 times this fall. It depends on how she feels.

I just had deer steaks fried in butter and olive oil, double pepper.
Lots of onions from the garden.
My neighbor's daughter happened to pop in and devoured one with
smiles and yumms.
Poor pooch, I'd bite your ankle BJ.
Give my best to Chris. Jeb

BJ,
That's mean! Poor little critter will waste away to a mere shadow of her former self, and blow away like dust in the wind!
. We had fresh deer liver and our dogs were right there for their share!
Cooked, of course!

I always save the sinew and connective tissue for dog treats. I simmer it on the stove, run it through the grinder, add rolled oats or cornmeal to thicken, and dry it on baking sheets in the oven. Doggie needs love too.

Jeb I'll call you next time. Your always invited.
Zuma she always scratches my belly with her little paw. It's so funny. I gotta admit I may have snuck her just a few little pieces.
Jerry wouldn't want her to get a taste for venison and decimate our local deer herd.lol I can't help it though she really does know how to push my buttons. I always sneak her a little taste.
JW that's what I told my wife. It'll make her ears stand up straight.
Jeff wish I could give you a taste.
Rob it was.
