« on: October 18, 2018, 07:36:59 am »

Looking forward to braced and full draw. You sure got some levers on that baby.

That’s a teaser for sure! Looks like a rocker launcher with those narrow levers. Great to see you do those the right way!

Here’s some better pictures and info.
She’s heat treated persimmon that draws 45# at 27”. 61” nock to nock, 4” handle section, lower limb is 14” to the lever fade, upper limb is 15” from handle to lever fade. Lower lever is 12.5” from fade to nock, the upper is just shy of 13”, and the lever fades are about 1.5” each. The limbs are 1.5” wide from handle to fade levers with the handle about 3/16” narrower. The levers go from 3/4” wide at the fade to 3/8” at the nocks. The depth is 3/4” at the fade to 3/8” at the nock. It weighs about 17.5 ounce with te leather and string.  I haven’t chronographed it but it’s very soft when shot but throws an arrow hard. It’s finished with linseed oil followed by about 8 coats of truoil with the India ink put on after the first coat of truoil.

Thanks for looking,
Kyle

Very nicely done sir. I especially like the fact that you tillered your working limbs to bend circular (from fade to fade) instead of more bend at the grip. I know those shoot really well.
