Actually, he isn't grumpy at all, he just has a low tolerance for idiots who think they know it all!  Well maybe he could be a wee tad grumpy when it comes to idiots and bow making :BB >:D (lol)! Especially concerning Yew!

as i have a good number of staves with damaged sapwood (by heavy lumber-machinery) this is a very useful information for me - will not have to back 'em all  :BB thanx & cheers

Weylin, looking forward to the rest of your current episode bow building vids. I'm more or less following along with my current project, it's been very helpful. I'm taking your advice, foregoing the tillering stick in favor of the tree.
