When that osage starts to darken it will look even better with those copperhead skins.
I think about that. I hate that I don't get to see that happen on so many of these bows. I send then out all fresh and yellow.
You mind sharing your width dimensions? I have a couple clean pieces of Osage I’d like to do something similar with.
Not at all. I used a pretty standard american flatbow profile and made it 1 3/4" wide.

Thats nice Weylin, I started going wider with my osage a few years ago and like it better.
I didn't have the drop in performance like I expected. They still seem very quick shooting but less prone to taking set. There may be a minute difference but with the recurves it seems to all balance out.
