latest project.

I was asked by a friend at work if I would forge a hunting knife for his young son and his first deer season.
I jumped at the chance.
8.5 inches overall 4.250 blade .
forged from a Nicholson file.
hand sanded to 600 wet and etched to expose hamon.
some of the best fiddleback maple i've ever laid my hands on.

Very nice!  That one should stay in the family a long time!  Hope he gets a chance to use it this season, and many more!
