Congratulate Arvin Weaver ( Selfbowman)

   Arvin took away my 50# self bow broadhead flight record this weekend. I think mine was about 221yds and Arvin shot a 223yds and some inches. Couldn't have gone to someone more deserving!

  Chuck Loffler also showed up and made some world class shots establishing himself as a true contender.

This mark would not have been reached if I would not have received so much knowledge from Steve and others on this site sharing . Steve fletched an arrow I had just made up for the shoot. Left my fletching jig at home. Yes that was the one that broke the record. Thanks to Steve and all on this site.

Congratulations, Arvin!! :OK :OK, 2 thumbs up!  And a big Attaboy to Chuck Loeffler for his showing.  Steve and all the other guys at MoJam were were helpful and more than willing to share their expertise in flight shooting and primitive archery in general!  Looking forward to MoJam next year!

Well done and good to meet you Arvin. I finally got to meet Steve "Badger" in person and some other legends of flight archery. I learned so much one can only get from speaking to someone in person. I already have a plan for next years bows and arrows I need to make. Lucky I live two hours from this event as I'm hooked.
