That's a nice buck Timbo!  Good luck with him.

Howard, those bayou squirrels sure look big and angry.  I'd keep my distance if I was you.

Nice hog Steve!

That's a nice, big, fat wild hog S.C.Hunter.Congrats.A little about how your getting them/weapon used etc. might be nice.Does the dog help?I got friends that go south to Oklahoma and Texas every winter in january with their long bows hog hunting, but they never come home with hogs of that size.
They've gotten so they have to shoot their hogs at night any more also.Once in a while they come home with a javelina.
I should go with them sometime, but am satisfied just to chase the whitetail and turkey around here.Sure would be nice to eat wild hog though.

I really enjoy checking the trail camera this time of year.  I never know what's going to be on there.

I watched this buck work the scrape as this picture was taken while I was in my stand.

This was a surprise to see this picture.  I think its the first time I've ever had a skunk on camera.

The buck on the right has a broken front right leg.  He is 2.5 years old but has the body and rack of a 1.5 year old.  He doesn't put weight on that leg but he does use it to work the scrape.  Last year he was a 1.5 year old spike.  He walked through my front yard last week.  It looks like his left shoulder is larger than it should be.  I guess it's from supporting twice the weight as it should be.

Cool pics Clint. Is that a honey locust bean in that one guy's mouth?

Yes.  That's a locust bean pod.  I thought that was a funny picture.

I've known a couple of people that killed deer eating honey locust bean pods. Good draw

I always enjoy your pics Clint.  You seem to have a lot of game on your place.  This season has been so rainy that I am off to a slow start.

I have some more pictures to post.  I had a coyote, fox, and bobcat walk by in less than a week.  They all looked pretty healthy.

I found these next two pictures interesting.  Both are young bucks the same age I'm guessing.  The first one has a swollen neck and a heavy body.

This one has extremely long legs.  As soon as we saw the pictures we noticed it.  If it lives long enough to fill out that body it will be interesting to see what it looks like.

And now the predators

This coyote appears to be eating well

It's fun judging the age of these bucks by their body style.Nice pics.

Can you judge the age of this buck Ed  ;D   First time getting one of these on trail camera.

We haven't seen many mature bucks this season.  There sure is a lot of young ones though.  I thought this picture was neat with the two fighting in the background.

Being a "city boy", I'd say that "buck" is a late 2 1/2  - maybe 3 year old!  I assume it is a feral hog.
Big enough if you like pork, though (=) (-_) -C-!
