Hey Guys,
Osage outlaw... He is a good one for sure. Will let you know what he weighs soon I hope. Got one last year that was 225, and another 145.
Hawkdancer,  yes lots of meat, these hogs, I think are mixed, not pure Russians, as they have a good bit of fat. Really good eating!
GlisGlis, that feeder is made of 4 " PVC pipe, the bend is just a 90 degree elbow, the section on the ground just has an oval slot cut in it, with a end cap glued on. Also put an " eye"  bolt in the cap, to stake it to the ground. Other than a cap on the top, That's it.
Holds about. 35 lbs. Of corn. I've been using it for years now.

Some really nice pics Bill.I'd zero in on one of them for sure.Hope you get a shot.I used to coon hunt in eastern Kentucky in a beautiful area[Sturgis,Kentucky] that was full of persimmon trees with a fella named Billy Joe.It was a former coal mining area which Billy Joe was most of his life.
The area I hunt is rather small so I don't use any cameras either.I try to count deer and the bucks I see during the rut while out. Some years as many 8 or 9 different bucks of various sizes. Some years are crazy and very entertaining.
No pigs or bear here though.I gotta settle for an occasional turkey to be different. This year a doe was below me but not quite right, then 3 turkeys came by too yet.It was a fun hunt for sure.
I'm a little surprised more bobcats are'nt seen on these cameras.I've seen a few.I know they are around here pretty good.

Not a game cam. I just took this out of my living room window. A spike buck about 20' from the house eating the berries the birds have knocked out of our Mountain Ash. He was there last night all through the trick or treating too. This is about the size Island Blacktails get. We normally have does in the yard but bucks are rare. Half a mile from here there seems to be lots of bucks

He looks like he's about 2'+ at the shoulder. A couple of does came by in the field next to the house. It took him about 15 minutes to figure out how to get out of the yard but he managed. They peed on the ground for him and then walked off into the bushes. He's still smelling the pee trying to figure it all out.

Cool pictures guys!  I recently moved to the Mississippi coast and bought a house on the bayou.  I am seeing all sorts of critters.  Here is a cell phone pic from my backyard.

I haven't seen any gators yet (!), but this guy has shown up a couple of times.  We will see if he makes it through the gun season, which starts Saturday here.  The camera is right where I have a ground blind set up, so this would have been a really nice shot if I had been there...no luck yet meeting him in person.

I managed to get one of the hogs in the pics. I posted.    Weighed in at 230 lbs.
I know there's more to get.
