Love that bow and in my experience ruining birch bows your draw weight is right. You just can’t build a 55# birch bow wiyhout a lot of expertise.  I know some have pulled it off but I’m convinced that 35-40# is ideal for our northern yellow birch and will shoot plenty fast.  Nicely done!  Now i  gotta go back to the drawing board and try again.
