Are there any Bowyer vloggers?
« on: July 15, 2018, 09:03:14 pm »
I love this community and have really enjoyed learning from so many of you. I just recently became obsessed with Alec Steele’s YouTube channel. If you haven’t seen it you definitely should check it out. I like bows so much more more than blacksmithing and was wondering if anyone knows any bowyer YouTuber who puts out daily quality edited content like Alec Steele does? If not I would encourage some of you excellent bowyers to help share the joy of what you do with the rest of us in video form.

Mick Grewcock is atleast one. He makes superbly made videos about his english warbow efforts. He's somewhat new to bowmaking, but still has some fun stuff in his channel.

Watch all the videos you can. Then you can pick out the way it's done most of the time. If something is confusing ask here. If it's something where half do it one way and half do it another then it probably doesn't matter which way it's done.

Thanks guys! Grewcock is the closest thing I was looking for. Watched a few and def excited to watch more. I’ve seen Clay Hays before and am checking out swiftwood right now.

Would love to see some of the experts on here get themselves  a young videographer who could make daily content and high quality editing like Alec Steele has. There is def a market for it.

Beware of presentation over content....
Really informative vids are not designed to be entertainment.
