Where did Super Yooper go??? I was without a computer for a while and saw Super Yooper and thouhght there was someone new, but now is he gone??..... I get confused easily!!!!

Lowell, according to the USDA map, you should have red osier dogwood, silky dogwood, rough-leaved dogwood, and gray dogwood in your area. All are very similar plants that make good arrows.

Did a little reading about red osier and found we have it but seems everyone here calls it red twig dogwood. Maybe like a creek here is a crick , stream or brook in another part of the country!!
Took a bike ride tonight to a quarry where I had remembered seeing some and cut some. Stripped the bark off and bundled up to dry and will give it a try!!
