I'm pretty excited, and really like natural beauty in the wood. There is grain pattern just below the outer bark of this wood that is making the back look amazing! But I messed part of up early in the process without knowing it until now. I'm trying out new things and learning a lot with this one.

Awesome bow mate! When you formed it up did you use any heat? Or just rough it out thin enough while green to bend a bit and then tie it to shape in your form?

Yep, just like you described. I roughed it out enough to bend the bow in the form then let it sit outside in the shade for about 2 weeks. We have been hitting 100+ degrees F and about 10% humidity, I put Elmer's glue over the whole belly to keep it from checking.
