TV stand
« on: July 02, 2018, 06:27:21 am »
Made a TV stand for my TV screen blade. It's a piece of Black Walnut salvaged from a old wood pallet and a small whitetail Antler. The TV blade and stand will be donated to a benifit for a young lady with breast cancer. Hope it helps her out.

Ditto!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Wow thanks guys. My wife is supposed to get all the information for me. It's July 8th I believe. It's at a local church I believe. I told her I might have some people interested in buying tickets. I'll try to post more information when I get it. Honestly I don't even know the ladies name. My wife just really likes her Mom and asked me if I could make something to donate.

Thanks Paul
Thanks Jerry, blessings on your friend and her family. Bless them all with strength and peace.

Everyone, I talked to the ladies mother this morning. She is a elderly lady and really didn't know how the display would be handled but she thought it would be a silent auction. I asked her if she could have the people setting everything up to give me a call. Hopefully I can get you all some more information soon.
Thanks so much for asking how to participate. It is very much appreciated.
Thanks again

PS I didn't post this thread trying to raise money, but it sure shows the quality people on this site willingly offering to participate.

BJ,
That piece would raise a bunch as a raffle item!  Silent auctions are neat, too, but only the final bidder pays.  Raffles get everyone who is interested in the item.  I still want in if it is raffled!

Jerry, I agree 100 percent with you about the raffle verse silent auction. I explained the same concerns to the Lady and told her how a different benifit that I donated a bow to conducted their raffle. I asked her to have the people in charge of setting up benifit to contact me because I have several people interested in purchasing tickets. Still haven't heard anything. I will try to get as much information and if possible input as I can.
Thanks again for your willing support.
