Question about wrapping w/ inner tubes

The question is, if I am using Smooth On to back a bow w/ bamboo and I wrap everything w/ plastic wrap (to prevent epoxy getting all over tubes) and then w/ inner tubes, does this effect cure time as no air can get in to allow everything to dry?

Nope, epoxy is a closed chemical reaction, everything it needs is in there.
Oh, put a layer of masking tape on the Boo back. Save trying to get the epoxy of that too.

I put masking tape on back and belly but back for sure. Using tightbond it would affect the cure time but not with any kind of epoxy.

Exactly what those guys said.In fact on hot sunny days I've put the wrapped black inner tube future bow in the sun.The chemical reaction of the epoxy and the suns' warmth will bring the temps well above 150 degrees F.Never seen it go past 160 F though.I don't leave it more than 5 hours. It'll be cured then too.
I bring it inside then and let it cool off for a couple of hours before unwrapping and start cleaning it up.

As noted, epoxy doesn't dry at all. Even though it is runny it is still considered "100% solids".
