Anyone tried horn on the belly of a Molly design?
« on: June 12, 2018, 03:07:45 pm »
In my head it seems like there is potential with the molly style lever design to add horn to the belly of the bending section but wondering if the extra length on the levers is makes unsuitable or counter productive? I would expect to sinew the back too it I did this....anyone tried it?

Many of the Asiatic horn bows would look like a Molly if you flattened them out.

Tim Baker and company put together a bow much like you’re describing in the traditional Boyers Bible four. It was an experimental concept so they took everything to the extreme to see how it would hold up, but it seems like a good concept to follow!
