Thanks everyone. I'll be starting on another one as soon as the ky. klassic is over. Maybe i can find a stave of something new down there. All I've got left is hickory.

I think that the amount of Set you have is Minimal...ad it looks like you have a good Hunter there...Tiller is a little off right at the Fades towards the Tips....that could add to the Woods Fatigue too

Very well done. That little amount of set will make the bow better.

Great looking bow.
What is wrong with having nothing but hickory left?  If that is a bad thing you can send it to me.  ;D Justin

Very nice bow!  I've used hickory a few times myself on longbows backing it with ash and maple.  I do like the looks of this one you've made very much.  I also like that poundage you got from it! :)

Justin i don't guess there's anything wrong with it just would like to try somethin new. If it were'nt for hickory i probably would'nt have ever got a workin bow to begin with it's very forgiving. It's also the wood i have a large abundance of so if you'd like some give me a holler seriously.

If you look at the unbraced pic you might note that the set is focused about 10" out on each limb.  It is bending a touch more there compared to mid limb.  Of course a furry browser is not likely to comment on that when you put an arrow in its vitals.
