Bow question
« on: May 12, 2018, 06:40:26 am »
I have a bow that's pulling 40 to 45 pounds at 22 inches. I'm shooting a 450 gr. Cedar arrow. If I retiller the bow to pull 40 to 45 pounds at 25 inches will it be the same, faster or slower using the same arrow?

Will, im no pro by any means, but it is my understanding that a longer working stroke of the limb is capable of storing more energy therefore delivering more to your arrow. Correct me if i messed this one up guys.

It should be faster the longer you draw it unless you mess up the tiller and damage the wood. As always the wood has to be up for the design, length, weight etc.
