Boy's Life 1914 article on bow making

Found this magazine during a search, can't even remember what I was looking for.  There's an article that starts on page 23 for making bows and arrows.  I found it very interesting to get a little snapshot from 1914.

I find it interesting that the author never mentions ring chasing or violations on the back of the bow. 

The fletching glue got my attention, too.  Russian icinglass boiled with 50% alcohol and water the combined with premium glue.
