Glue for takedown sleeve
« on: April 10, 2018, 06:46:54 pm »
I know this has been covered many times but I can't seem to find a thread about it. Everyone seems to use smooth on MT13. Has anyone tried JB WELD? Any reason MT13 is so "special?"

MT 13 is more specialized for the task.  JB Weld is too general purpose.  There is likely dozens of  dozens of  appropriate metal to wood bonding epoxies out there but specific hobbies tend to use the go to one for their particular need.

MT13 is my vote. I made two without and both sucked. I made one using it and it is rock solid and perfect.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

That smooth on company is a good company.I just wish sometimes they would sell some things in smaller amounts.I hav'nt had a problem of them going bad yet though but they warn about it.
