I wanna figure out if I can make a frame mounted pump for when these intank ones crap out. Maybe make an adapter kit. Could get rich off of that.
I recall a time when I had a carborated truck, the fuel pump quit on my way to work. But I had gone boating the day before and still had a boat tank with hose and primer bulb in the bed. I ran the fuel line to the carb, rolled down the passenger window, ran the line to the passenger seat, and sat the tank there. I sat in the middle cause the line wasnt long enough, and the primer bulb was out the window. So I made it to work, sittin in the middle, leaned over, right hand out the passenger window, squeezing the fuel primer bulb every few moments, when the truck would start to cough. Eventually I got the timing down and it drove fine... Good times.
