Six Stingers

I haven't posted any arrows in a while, and with my rotator cuff issue, pulling bows back lately hasn't been much fun.  So I make some arras.
The two on the left are honeysuckle shafts gifted to me by Guy at last Marshall.  The two in the middle are hill cane shafts gifted to me by PatB at last Classic.  The two on the right are just some of my old Kentucky river cane. 
Crested with a little snake skin wrap with silk thread trim
Wild turkey fletch dyed with Kool Aid
Nocks reinforced with sinew
Seed bead nock indicators
Maribu feathers as primitive aluma nocks
ScottS stone points hafted with sinew.
Field points Duplex nails with thread wrap and epoxy coating.

Pat,
I was hesitant at first with the nodes being closer together than what I'm use to, but after working with a couple of dozen, they are the smallest diameter for the spine and are heaviest per inch than any other shaft I've worked.  They are also a little more brittle than my rive cane but I think that helps in paradox recovery.  I wish my shoulder would get better I would shoot a bunch more of them.

Sure hope your shoulder gets better Bill but it sure is nice to see some of your arrows again. Beautiful arrows Bill. Like Clint said I could pick your arrows out in a crowd functional beauty.

Real nice!  I think you set the bar real high for quality arrows!  Take care of that shoulder!  Get it checked out  If it isn't better in a few weeks, you may need p.t. Or surgery!  Try pulling a much lighter bow for a while.  Some of the pt exercises can be tailored to the type of activity you like.
