Got an awesome mulberry bow in the mail from Springbuck last night.  The man has skills. I’ll post pics over the weekend but it is very cool.  Can’t wait to sling some arrows. It is very light in the hand. I can tell it will be a very lively shooter.  Thanks Stephen and Merry Christmas everyone.

I'm new to the board and not sure what all of the prerequisites are but would love to participate in next year's trade. Over the past few months, I've found myself here more than any other forum. You guys are awesome.

No one here for f/d picks. Awesome.

I’ll post some more info over this weekend. The tip underlays are locust and the glue lines are invisible. I’ve learned things just studying this bow.  Thanks Springbuck!

I want to apologize for the late posting. This is the first day off that I’ve had where the weather and other obligations permitted me to take pics of and shoot my new bow. This bow draws buttery smooth and hits where I’m looking with the right arrows. Thanks again to tattoo Dave for making me this bow!
Current Lighting and my phone don’t make for good detail pics, but the birch backing on this is beautiful

Nice bows Hoosierf and Morgan!(Tattoo Dave and Springbuck)
I bet that bark would look pretty awesome in the sunlight Morgan.
Some great character in that bow Springbuck made. Wondering if Springbuck could share about the finish he used on that one?

Glad you like the bow Morgan. I almost didn’t want to let go of that one. I love a bamboo bow.

I am heading to the post office tomorrow with a package.  This is the reserve bow I built in case someone didn't fulfill their end of the trade.  This package is heading to Missouri.

This will complete the 2018 trade as everyone that sent a bow will get a bow.

Here is the final bow from te 2018 trade. It came in a day early. I couldn’t be more happy with it. A short wide bendy handle black locust. I’m not used to that width of the tips? But it sure does shoot well and feel nice at the shot. Thanks a bunch Mike, I’m proud to add another of your bows o my collection. It’ll definitely see some good use.

I am glad it made it early Kyle.  I can't believe how fast the USPS was.  I made that bow after a bow in the book, Native American Bows, Arrows and Quivers.  It is not an exact replica of the bow on page 25 but it was close.

I hope it serves you well.
