Hunting and eating locusts

I haven't had time to hunt anything substantial this season so I went out decided I was going to see how bugs tasted.  I found out that they're alright but I have mental block that makes it difficult for me to eat them.  I did it anyway just for you!

i will stick to deer,turkey,rabbit,pheasant,bear and squirrel Tim..i was gagging watching you..No naked and afraid for this guy...lol

Best way to catch locust is a cast net in a grass field. It pims em down. Then pick em up, toss em in a bottle, and you got fish bait for days.

They fall 2 levels below snake!! -C- >:D! And that is a last resort!  I think I, too, will stick with rabbit, squirrel, deer, etc.  Trained on all that stuff, never had to eat bugs, though - fried, they are supposed to be ok(with salt) >:D

Not with a good body hit and pass through.  They leave better blood trails with both entry and exit wounds open.

So, you planning on turning the tables on the Bible and becoming a plague ON locusts?

I don't know about, although the crunching sound good almost like crispy bacon.  hahaha

I read somewhere that a cache of shafts found in a cave in Utah looked to be 98% blunts.  On my survival trips, lizard wacking is productive.  Your "locust arrow heads" show some thinking.  Thanks for sharing.

Reminds me of how we eat beetles here. They are in season when it’s time to harvest the rice, when they have eggs. First we boil them then sauté them in soysauce, garlic, and chili, mmm .. makes a great snack, pretty strong odor though
