I painted a turkey on my compressed bale, the arrows are not matched but at 8 yards they do well, I am hoping to have a close shot like last year,(that I missed) so I am working on the sitting down close shot over a decoy for now,, the top arrow did not have feathers and it broke when it it, so there are seven arrows,,,,If I dont get too nervous I think I can do it,,,
,, I shoot pretty well out to 15 yards as well,,
I forgot to mention, I am shooting an osage D bow,, about 61 inches long and about 45# at my 25 inch draw,,it is very forgiving,, will shoot any arrow fairly well,,and wide range of weight and spine,, the arrows in the photo are 40 to 70# spine ,, maple mahogany and cedar birch... at longer range they would not group so good, but I like to experiment and see just what the bow likes best,, the weights were about 500 to 700 grains...its my favorite design bow,,bend in handle,,I just love shooting it,,
