i cant seem to post photos on here...keeps saying file size is to big....how do you shrink a photos size.?

Open in a program like paint.  Then change size. In paint theres a option called resize. In the dialog box, choose percentage and reduce by something like 75 percent. Then save image and check new size by right clicking image and choosing properties.

I have been sitting here making one mistake after another without getting anywhere.

What I have had to do is create a photo folder that has low data size photos and post from it. The way to create those low data photos will depend on the photo editor you use.
