Chunky monkey preform to micro-overshot thinning

In testing the Cushing method with the deer tine, I decided to try tackling an old chunky monkey preform. It seemed like the best way to carry out the thinning was through micro-overshot, and fluting.

If it is finished, most of the overshots will be obliterated by pressure. So, to show the actual technology to researchers, it must be left as is, and save with the flakes. Otherwise, the finish will hide the evidence of the technology.

You don't need the unfinished point. ??? The flakes will speak for them selves. O:)
Just like in archaeology. BTW how many of the flakes are overshot? :o
In the real world 10-12 percent is a max number. Considered mistakes
by those that study ancient knapping. :KN :KN If you create a larger number of
overshot flakes while knapping a point from scratch you must call it Modern Knapping
IMHO. If your Cushing method was used in the ancient past would you see millions of
things like these.
