First Successful Build- Final product
« on: January 14, 2018, 07:10:13 am »
Here's the finished product, folks. Same dimensions, but the draw weight is now exactly #40 @28". The inlaying of the crow feathers with Tite bond III and lacquer added the 4 lbs needed to hit the #40 mark!

I named it Seattle because of all the crows here, and the fact that all the glue and lacquer cloud up when the bow gets cold. It actually creates a pretty cool effect, IMHO. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions in refining this one. I'll be looking to folks for suggestions again on my next build.   (SH) :BB

Happy hunting, y'all!

Cool looking finish! I like it. From the strung bow it looks like the tiller managed to come out great as well. Great first bow, I am sure you it will not be your last one!
