Painted Osage Bow

When chasing a ring on this Osage bow I decided fast that I wanted to give it a paint job. So once I got the shape of my bow I decided to go ahead and paint some designs in hope as I thinned and got the bow tillered out that the paint would look worn. This stick had about 2" of natural reflex in it when I started and after I got it finished it had around 1". The bow was sealed with Ream Sealer (thanks Clint for the idea)

nice bow,, you can always lightlyl sand the paint, to make it look older and more distressed,,and never to late to do that,,

Nice paint job! And you must work very clean because I don't see a scratch on that paint job

Nice bow gutshot, I've found the best way to give them that distressed look ito take out a hunt with them. 🤔 Or at least shoot em a bunch.
