This one is for a hunter doing a primitive bear hunt. 62" ntn. 64# draw @ 30". Nice piece of osage I got from Clint(Osage Outlaw) a while back. Stiff handle with buffalo horn arrow rest and tips. American bison leather handle wrap. I got it tillered to 30" and just over 60# draw. I wanted to get the most out of it so heat treated the belly to a little reflex and added one full layer of sinew and another just in the center for a crown. The sinew is covered with the biggest timber rattler skin I have seen. The scales are of mythological size. I used the center of the skin and probably have enough on both sides left for 2 more bows. Short contact recurve. Sealed with a few coats of tung oil and shellac over that on the back.
I shot the bow 10 times through a chrono with a 687 grain regular ash target arrow. Threw out the fastest and slowest speed. Average arrow speed for the other 8 shots 174.7 feet per second.
