We are supposed to have a bow hunting shut down here in Iowa from dec.2nd. to dec.18th.Then bow hunting resumes till jan.10th.Mean while a late muzzle loader season is injected from the 18th.of dec. to jan. 10 too but bow hunting is allowed yet.
All these different seasons is to accomodate every type of deer hunter out there hunting in Iowa.

Thanks....The quiver is a black or fisher coon as some call them.A cat quiver type style.I lined it with smoked brain tan deer but probably did'nt really need to.Used a green split dogwood stiffener letting it dry to shape to create a stable opening to get arrows from.The quiver is light as a feather to carry.
The whitetail here probably don't taste as good as your elk up there but they'll have to do.
