One for the old age chats
« on: November 03, 2017, 10:13:07 am »
i wish i had gotten this on camera.  It was a textbook stalk. Over 30 minutes playing the wind to get within 15 yards of these does The ASAT "vanish" camo suit is just amazing. The shot was just under 15 yards using a 60# hickory longbow. bamboo shaft with 95 grain obsidian point. Complete pass through. Exit hole was over 2.2" wide.   She didnt even flinch....just looked around confused. Took about 10-11 steps, wobbled and died.

i cant post pics since photobucket went crazy.   i dunno if the point broke as i did not recover the arrow.  Spent 30 minutes looking for it but with the heavy leaf litter it was to no avail.
