Thanks for your input as always Simson.  ;)

Bob, the plan is to take this bow Turkey hunting this week. Wish me luck!  (SH) :G

DC, thanks buddy. I figure I post enough bows that it's worth mixing up the pics.

Leon, this is my second go with the carp skins. My dad's got a pond that's overrun with them, so they're easy to get and I do like the way they look. I'm pretty sure the protection is comparable to rawhide.

Nice bow, the carp skin is cool.

How long are your arrows? It seems you could get two more inches of draw length out of that bow. From the FD pic, the draw length seems just under 26". A draw to 28" or even 29" would lift those hooks just a bit more.

Thanks Ed, I'm going out the day after tomorrow so I'll let you know how I do.  ;)

Thank you Stoner and Sniper.

Joachim, may arrows are about 27" give or take a little. It was slippery on that rock and I took the picture on a timer, so I may very well have it pulled only to 26. Good observation! I'll take another look at the FD pic. If I'm drawing short, that makes me feel a little better about the length of the hooks.

Don't know how I missed this one Jeff, I've been really busy the last couple months. I really like this bow. I think it's your best yet, at least right up there. Nice work and hope you had fun hunting.

You did a fantastic job holding the profile on that bow. I bet it is a screamer.

Thank you all very much.

ntv, I really love your osage bow as well. Funny how we both had osage and fish on the brain around the same time.  )W( )F( :)

BJ, It's a busy time of year! Your opinion always means a lot to me my friend. Deep Roots is an absolute beauty with an awesome story behind it as well.

Couldn't have made this bow without your approach to tillering Badger. Can't tell you how much I respect your experience and willingness to share what you've learned.
