Matched arrows

What has to be the same for a set of arrows to be "matched"? If you have a random half dozen arrows that shoot a nice group every time can they be considered matched?

i would say so!
one can only surmise thats exactly how primitive man did it. if they all shot to the same spot, at their chosen range- it was good!!

I think so too. When I carry sourwood shoot and cane arrows in my hunting quiver they are slightly different lengths and different weights but they all shoot the same at less than 20 yards. some will have stone heads, some trade points and some commercial heads and all were first tested with 125gr field points..

Thanks. No big deal, it just seemed like that should be the case.

With the speeds we're shooting it's not hard for the arrow to correct. At 300fps it's more critical.
