Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Got at least 6 John William's in the family, gets confusing as to whose whom!  I'll stay with Hawkdancer, it was hung on me by an Ojibwa scout leader over 30 years ago!  Change is constant - progress is optional. >:D (-P

We love you too....  Actually, the Eastern Box Turtle is a reptile.  Amphibians are frogs, salamanders, etc....  Just sayin... ;D

Turtle soup is good!, don't have much use for snakes, as long as they leave me alone.  Never had to acquire a taste for them! >:D -C-!  Frog legs are good!, but I prefer venison.

Dark Turtle... that's got a nice ring to it. Sounds like it could be a band. Play any instruments OO?

I can just hear the introduction now...

"On the main stage tonight, comin' together from all around the country to entertain ya'll at Mojam 2018, with the Clintster on lead guitar, Pappy on bass, H Rhodes on the Fender Rhodes electric piano, Mullet on lead vocals and none other than Chris 'Pearl Drums' Koenigsknecht on drums... DARK TURTLE!!!!

"Even as the archer loves the arrow that flies, so too he loves the bow that remains constant in his hands."

We call them terrepans or proper name box turtles. We have a lot of then to in southern Ky. Me and my daughter use to use a paint marker dates we would see them hoping we would see it again but never do did. We probably put dates on 50 or so

Upstate,
Great name, but " Ya gotta have a fiddle in the band"!!  "Little Fiddle woman" (Jacie Mc Connell) has fiddle, will travel - for right price!  Also has bow, muzzleloader, and center fire, will hunt!  Do have to get her a legal weight self or trad bow!  Right now, she just has a "wheelie" in pink camo!   This group might need a good seannachie, too(me)!   Way off the real turtle line, but we're having fun!
