No plans for electric but it will power a rotisserie to cook a squirrel.

Hire a pretty outdoorsy type woman to demonstrate it in a slick marketing campaign,shoot a video and plaster it all over the web, or better yet, start a video series, hunting and fishing all over the world, "The Great Adventures of Two Fletch and His Amazing Spinning Squirrel Cooker", you get your game and cook it on the spot, you could be the next out door channel star, think of all of the money you could make!

I think a fire could be made on the bank or up on a elevated rock platform right in the stream. The wheel could also be easily made to spin by dripping water down from above. The "axle" has a extension on it to hold the squirrel (or whatever). If I get a chance this week I will see what I can do with building a heat source to cook over.  Regardless it was just a novelty to goof around with.

Grandson Michael and I messed around a bit fabricating this to spin the water wheel by our lean to camp. Not the best picture but you get the idea. We made the trough out of a split sunflower stalk. Water came from a gourd above and was suppose to be caught in the gourd below (catching the water did not quite work but the water wheel did spin). Still needs some "tweaking" but we got side tracked with other stuff (caught a snake, whittled some sticks, put up a wood duck nesting box, ate Grandma's cooking, packed up camp from last night. Real good weekend spent "goofing around" in the woods with Michael.
