NA semi ridgid handle ?
« on: September 08, 2017, 06:00:09 pm »
Hi fellas I'm just finishing up the finale touches on this years hunting bows , but wanted to start another bow between now & winter I  have this stave ruffed out for a 44 in bendy but have not tried one with a semi rigid handle yet but what I was going to do is keep the center 4 in. Thick and start my limb tapers out side that area & narrow 3 in of handle both sides by 1/8 in. and as I tiller the limbs adjust the handle thickness for proper bend is that the right approach or any pointers would be appreciated by you guys that make this style bow ,also the demetions are 1 1/2 wide to start 43 ntn it will be slightly flipped & sinew @22 in.plus any thoughts on slight elliptical tiller vs full circular tiller ?

I'd shoot for an elliptical tiller and try to get the bend just right as soon as possible. Then gradually reduce weight till you hit 22"  and apply the sinew.  ;)
